As you can see I did change this up a little. I'm doing it for my Seasonal Shelf and since the LK Stamp has pinks in it instead of red I wanted this to match. It is being stitched on a pink 28 count Evenweave I had in my stash with Crescent Colours and Dinky Dyes. I'm stitching it 1 over 1.
My fourth start of the week is the new tin set by Just Nan. This arrived in the mail on Saturday and I just couldn't wait to start it. This is what I got done on Sunday and I hope to have the stitching done today. It is stitched on WDW 30 count Sky (the fabric is a PITA to stitch on) with DMC and there will be some beads added last. I will be doing two sets of these, one for Deborah M and one for myself. I just love the Cardinals and use to watch them all Winter while living in Arkansas but they aren't here in the desert and I do miss seeing them. This project will bring back many happy memories.
Until Next Time....Happy Stitching

Great stitching Rene. Love the Tin. My Gram loves Cardinals they are her favorite birds.
Oh, wow! Now I am lusting for that new tin set! You know me and cardinals!
And I like your new start, too. Good work!
Looks great, Rene.

Lovely, lovely!
Great work Renee. I have 2 sets of cardinals coming to my feeder now. Two females and 2 mails. I so love those birds. My maternal grandmother loved them as well and always called them red birds. She taught me to love all birds but like her I love Cardinals best.
Love, love, love the Just Nan tin. I MUST get this one. :) I see Cardinals all the time in my yard. I love to fill the feeders and see who comes. And Rosie, the kitty, love to sit in the window and watch too. :)
Your work is always soo nice!! Don't worry about being a serial starter...you are also a serial finisher! :-) I may have to invest in some JBW designs...thanks to you!
This is the JBW design I have. Will love seeing it come to life and see if it urges me to start it too!
I love seeing your Just Nan pieces.. too cute!!
Beautiful Rene - your blog is the most enabling that I know, lol! i have to have the tin, and those hearts are lovely too...
We have cardinals lots of times back here at the feeder although I haven't seen any for a few weeks. What I miss and love are black-capped chickadees but once in a while we get those too.
I really like that French Country Love pattern. Looks like it's going well so far!
Love the French Country and the cardinals!
So Beautiful! Your work is an inspiration to me...to get stitching!
