I took the BIG step today and after much talking about it got my hair CUT!

AfterNow that my hair is 20 inches shorter I feel like my head is a ton lighter and some cancer patient will have a wig of all that hair. I know now that I'll have to do the blow dry and curling iron thing but it feels so much better.

Bet it's a lot cooler for that hot Las Vegas weather, although I would love to be able to get my hair to grow as long as yours was.
Oh my! You sure did get alot cut off. I think it looks good from the back :) I bet its going to be alot easier to manage now :)

Congratulations, Rene. It is a wonderful, wonderful thing you have done, providing hair for a wih for a cancer patient. You have no idea what it does for a person's self-esteem to get that wig. Nice cut, but usually there are front before and after pictures too! If you use your imagination, the first one could be Cousin It!! LOL

One of my friends had hair past her knees. She got it cut to about the same length as yours and when she stood up from the cutting chair she fell over :) (weight to no weight).
Oh My!!! Better for the hot weather for sure!! I'm sure someone will be very ahppy with the wig. Mine is a tad bit shorter just below my ears. Woud have loced to see a pic of the front too!
The cut and you look terrific!! I think your hair donation is a wonderful thing and will be treasured.
