S.E.X. and Celtic Spring

After all the hours I've spent waiting in the waiting rooms for DH Tracy's doctor's appointments he decided it was time to pay his debt. Friday came and the weather was great. Much cooler than it had been in a couple of weeks. We were going to start our day with breakfast out but I over slept (haven't slept past 7am in months until Friday). We started out day with a trip to the LNS. Started off at the fiber wall, OH it was so nice to fondle and see all that I have been looking at on the net. While I was looking the lady working in the shop took my list and gathered all the beads and other little not so fun things for me. We then moved to the fabric room. I was looking for a small cut of Dark blue and didn't find any but got a piece of really pretty yellow. Then we started looking at charts. Tracy believe it or not is my biggest enabler here, he finds all kinds of charts. I only got 3 Lizzy Kate charts but have several others in mind for my next trip. I did get the latest issue of Just Cross Stitch with the ornament preview and I was very excited to find the 2006 Just Cross Stitch Ornament Issue.

We then went to lunch before moving on the Michael's. I was missing some of the colors of floss for Celtic Spring and instead of looking through all my many WIP's I decided to just get some more. I found some really cute little buttons for Biscornu's, some stickers (froggies of course), a small wooden box to put stitching on the lid and other misc stuff.

Then it was time to head on to dinner on the way home. We went to a buffett at a Casino close to home and ate, ate and ate. After dinner we put a couple of dollars in the slots, didn't win but didn't lose much either. All in all it was a very nice day out with my DH who is also my best friend.

Celtic Spring
I spent most of Saturday and Sunday working on this. I have decided to do all the beading as I go. I think this was a good decision since there are a zillon beads in it and don't think I'd ever get it finished if I left the beading til the end. I'm stitching it on Willow Green 28 count cashel linen and enjoying every minute of it. I really had a hard time putting her up for the week and can't wait to work on it again this weekend.

Until next time.....Happy Stitching
