WIP's.....
"A Quaker Christmas" is coming along nicely. I am working on the area where the pages overlap and should soon be finished with page 1 where it meets pages 2, 4 & 5. Since I'm using a overdyed thread I wanted to do the motifs that are on more than one page at one time so the flow of the color wouldn't be interrupted. Sorry for the colors in the picture not being true but it was night time when I took the pic so the light wasn't the best.
In my Hardanger class we are doing a SAL of Victoria Sampler's "Pansy Sampler". Most of us had set it aside over the holidays and decided to get back to work on it on Thursdays. I did have a bit of a problem finding mine as it had fallen behind my WIP basket. I found it on Friday and finished the Hardanger in Band 11. This week, on Thursday, I'll do the hearts and eyelets then on to the cutting.
Start and almost finish....

I really needed a new start after working so long on just AQC and this filled the bill. All the stitching is done and later today I will attempt the finishing. I have never done one of these so will be a challenge to figure out the directions and getting it done. I think I need more coffee and maybe some chocolate before I attempt it.
Now I'm back to working on AQC and looking forward to getting some good progress in.
Until Next Time....Have a great week with lots of stitching time.

Your needles are smoking! Very nice progress.
Looks great Rene
Like the Strawberry pinkeep in the purple. LOL AQC is coming along nicely.
Wow, great progress. They are all lovely!
Rene, I really like the Quaker Christmas and the pinkeep. I'm finding myself very drawn to the simplicity of the Quaker pieces. I really like the use of the one color of overdyed threads. Your hardanger looks good also. Hoping to learn that one of these days.
Everything looks great. AQC is a fun piece. Enjoy the rain and stitching!
Very nice progress on the Quaker. I've seen those little strawberries...good luck with that! LOL
All look wonderful Rene.
I think I will just relax for a while before trying to attempt a repair on my Pansy Sampler.
Everything looks just marvie!
I'm amazed at the progress on Quaker Christmas, and I love, love, love the colours on the Strawberry Pinkeep. The more I see the Pansy Sampler, the more I think I need to add that to my stash, even though I've never done Hardanger.
Great progress on everything Rene!
Wonderful stitching, Rene. You progress is amazing! (I'm so jealous!)
All the projects look wonderful and I think it's great that they color co-ordinate with your New Year background :)
Both Quakers are gorgeous! We've got lots of rain in SoCal too, so much that local streets flooded yesterday and I almost got stuck on the way home from work. Have a great week!
Love the Quaker Christmas and your pansies look lovely, so fresh and colourful.
Rene, it's just lovely. When you mentioned your Christmas Sampler, I didn't know which you were talking about. Oh, beautiful. Lover your lil pin keep and your Pansy Sampler will be done before I even get all my supplies here :(
