I'm still really enjoying doing Hardanger and see lots more of it being done now. This was my finish this weekend.
Stitched on 28count White Linen
with DMC #8 and #12 Perle Cotton and floss
This is one of the four designs on the chart and I will be doing all four of them. Emie Bishop has been a favorite designer of mine for years and I was lucky enough to meet her at a stitching show in IL in the late 90's. I did one of her designs and entered it in the Arkansas State Fair was was surprised to win "Best of Show" in the Hardanger catagory. I have also started another of her designs "1996" Angel" but my eyes just were too tired to handle the buttonhole stitch on 32 count fabric. I'm doing it with Pink Perle cotton on a light Pink fabric and when finished I'm sending it to Donna for the Stitch for a Cure tree. I hope to have enough progress to share with you later this week.
I'm working on Monopoly today and then will get back to the birth sampler for Maddie. Speaking of the little cutie, here is a picture of her in the "Piglet" onesie I stitched for her. Thank goodness I got them done and in the mail to her before she outgrew it.

Your finishes are just beautiful Rene, I love the Emmie Bishop heart. Her pieces are so gorgeous.
Maddie is such a cutie.
Love your cube. It turned out wonderful. And your hardranger heart is beautiful. Akmost as beautiful as that little cutie, Maddie. Wow is she growing fast. She looks so big!
The cube turned out great! I need to learn how to do them. That baby is super cute as is the piglet. It is hot and humid here..thank goodness for a/c. Have a GREAT week!
Wonderful finishes!
And so great to see the little on in your handiwork!
Your Christmas heart is beautiful. I love the stitching inside the heart. It just pops on that fabric. I don't know what you're planning on doing with it but I think it would make a beautiful ornament. I can't wait to start class. As usual, Maddie is still a cutie. She's getting big fast. Congrats on your first cube. Very nice finish!
The onsie looks adorable on Maddie. :) Congrats on both your finishes. They both look great!
Great finishes! Can you send me the link to the instructions for the no sew cube? I think I want to try it.

Awwwww....great pic of Maddie. She is such a little beauty.
Your cube looks fantastic. So does your hardanger heart.
Oh, and the foam for the cube. I bought a bigger size foam and will cut it in size for a cube. Couldn't find a small one either, so I had to buy a big one which will be enough for 4 cubes.
Your finishes are lovely Rene, well done!
Congrats on your beautiful cube finish! It's perfect!
and your hardanger heart is amazing!
Maddie looks adorable in her piglet onesie:)

That's the same site I used to make my first cube too! It was easier than you think. Maddie is too darn cute! I am trying to keep up with computer stuff, but it's hard when I'm still helping Lauren out every day!
OMG, that is just stunning! I don't think I'll be attempting anything like that anytime soon! Maddie is also stunning.
