WOOHOO Finally Finished

Finish....

I finally finished "Easter House". It took a little longer than I thought it would but was well worth the time it took. I wish you could see the sparkle in the beads and how the flowers make it look 3 dimensional.

I know, I know Easter has passed but I have a couple of more Easter projects I want to get done before I get back to my rotation.

"Easter House" free design by Brook's Books
stitched on White Perforated Paper
with DMC and Mill Hill beads
Scissor Collection....

In my ILCS Yahoo group the QOTD was about scissors. I do have a small collection and always looking to add to it. I have two more pair that are not in the picture. A froggy pair that I never use (they are the blunt kids type) but sure enjoy looking at them. Also have the Fiskers that Shelley sent me with the scissor slide. I use the multi-colored storks the most and the gold storks are used only for Hardanger. You can also see some of the fobs I have made to go on the scissors so I don't lose them.

Blogging....

I can't believe it but this is my 400th Blog entry! Boy am I a blabber mouth. I started Blogging for myself to keep track of my WIP's and Finishes. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect so many followers and wonderful comment. Thank You so much for reading and all the comments.

Until Next Time....Happy Stitching

Easter House is really cute. Do you really need anymore scissors?? Think I have like 2 pair, one for home and the other for take to work projects. They are very pretty though.

Love Easter House!

I think your scissor collection is similar in size to mine; altho I haven't actually gathered them up and put them all together.

Such a cute finish! And I love your scissors and fobs. I think it'll be 5 years at least before I reach 400 entries - congrats!

Congrats on the 400th post. Easter house is just absolutely gorgeous!
I love your scissor collection. Your fobs that I have received are still my favorites. I even have the Christmas one on a pair right now. The best scissors I have (2 pair) are from surgical kits I got when working in the hospital. They were used to cut some thread used to sew up a wound. Never came close to blood or anything and were still sterilized afterward anyway. They are sharp, sharp boogers! Had them for 10+ years. They were throwing them away and I said no way.

Easter house is really cute, I might have to do hunt down that freebie! If I don't decorate for Easter, maybe Lauren would start! Geez, that reminds me, with being on vacation and then going to Chicago I haven't changed my March to April LK piece yet! I love blogging to keep track of my stitching!!!! So glad it was invented.

Easter House is so cute, love the peeking bunny. As for the scissor collection...I'm so jealous, I'm desperate for new scissors and keep looking but then spend the money on something else - usually the kids LOL!
